pup access and Discord permissions both apply. Protected members, command exclusions, channel access and role hierarchy can still prevent an action. The verified server owner has pup access without grants; Discord’s bot constraints remain. See Permissions and hierarchy.

Command access

Recording a warning does not require pup’s Moderate Members permission or a role above the target. The moderator still needs their own permission and hierarchy; a separate escalation action checks pup’s access. Reading moderation records also requires Moderation view. Staff notes require Moderation administer.

Other commands

Prefix forms use the same permissions and target checks. Confidential routes redirect to slash commands. For complete current inputs, open Command reference.
