Open Moderation → Cases or use a private slash command:
A case keeps the action, reason and result for every recorded moderation action. Channel actions identify the channel. Check the action status and each notification to see whether the action succeeded and the member received their DM. Imported cases are labelled read-only and link to their source capture.

Browse older cases

Use the Next and Previous buttons, or add page to /cases or /history:
/case opens the numbered case. /reason can update a pup case’s reason; warning revocation applies to warnings.

Retry a failed step

Correct the missing permission, role position or destination, then select Retry on the failed case action or notification. Completed steps are not repeated. For blocked DMs, ask the member to allow messages from pup before retrying. Technical details includes identifiers and diagnostic codes for investigating failures. Include them when asking the operator for help.

Change a reason or add a note

Reasons require text when being edited. Staff notes require note content and restricted access; an ordinary case summary does not expose them. Check command inputs for each command’s current options.

Case evidence

Evidence loads when you open a case. Case viewers can read and download stored evidence; case administrators can delete it. Select Download evidence beside an available item. See Data and privacy for file storage and deletion. Moderation actions record references to their source message. They do not yet save that message’s text or files for later reading. These entries appear as Inaccessible. Missing, deleted, inaccessible or oversized content cannot be downloaded. See Warnings for expiry and escalation. Activity lists scheduled reversals and event history. Imported history explains Carl captures.

Export cases

Open Moderation → Case export to choose a member, date range and case kinds. Download CSV or JSON when the export is ready. Export access is separate from reading a case, and restricted notes still require their own permission. Keep downloaded files private; deleting pup’s copy does not remove your download.
