# pup 0.3.0

> Give people and Discord roles scoped moderator access.

## Moderator access

* Give a current person or Discord role a reusable permission set from Settings → Access.
* Use immutable built-in sets or create and edit narrow custom sets. New custom sets start with the two permissions needed to record warnings.
* Allowed moderation requires the relevant Pup module and action permissions, current Discord permissions, and applicable actor and bot hierarchy. Forbidden actions are refused.
* Revoke active or faulted grants while retaining their history. Other valid grants continue to apply. Role loss removes that person’s role-based access; deleted roles and departed members fault their grants. Recovery requires a deliberate new grant.

## Scope

This release completes moderator access. It adds no commands, warning administration, timer management or protection features.
