# pup 0.10.5

> Check the current member history in reply conversations.

When you ask Pup about someone's joins, leaves or moderation history in a reply conversation, it can use the ID of the sole other person in the direct reply chain if the conversation points to them. Pup checks its retained records for each new question, so a later return is included in a new count. If the person cannot be identified reliably, Pup asks you to mention them or provide their Discord ID.

The same server permissions apply to every record search. Counts cover what Pup recorded, which may be less than the member's complete Discord history.

**Try it:** Reply to a conversation with one clearly identified member and ask Pup how many times they left and returned. Then try a reply where two possible members are involved; Pup should ask who you mean.
